Opportunity library
Internal links via a redirect
Internal links that go through a redirect add a detour for visitors and crawlers, and chains of redirects add more.

How Lastmod finds it
The crawl follows every internal link and records which ones end up somewhere else.
What you do
Replace each link with its final address, starting with the chains of two or more redirects.
How the work is followed up
Lastmod looks for your change on the live page and closes the opportunity when the problem is gone. Clicks are followed as context, not as the proof.
