Who builds Lastmod
Yasin Kocak, Founder
Lastmod is built by Yasin Kocak.
It is built around one idea: a recommendation should show its reasoning, and what happened after you acted should be measured, including saying so when there is not enough data to tell.
The principles behind every recommendation
- Data-driven, always
- Every recommendation is grounded in your own site and search data, with its reasoning shown.
- Explainable by design
- Every recommendation can answer “why are you suggesting this?” and “what data supports it?” on demand.
- You make the changes
- Lastmod advises and measures. You make the change; Lastmod never edits your site.
- Honest about uncertainty
- Too little data? Lastmod says so, instead of showing a precise-looking percentage.
Where Lastmod stands
- A young product
- We have no customer logos or reviews to show yet, so this site shows none. The changelog lists what exists, by date.
- Hosted in the EU, with AI analysis in the US
- The database and the application run in the EU. AI analysis runs with Anthropic in the United States, under EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Every provider that handles your data is on the sub-processor list.
