Proof for your SEO and AI visibility, without a specialist
You own the website and SEO is one of five jobs. Lastmod tells you what to fix first, why it matters, and afterwards what happened to your clicks.

- Technical SEO
Add a canonical tag
/blog/eu-vat-guide-2026
No canonical tag in the page's HTML.
HighA fixed rule against the crawled HTML, not an estimate.
- Quick win
Rewrite the title tag
/guides/invoice-software
Position 6.4 with 2,140 impressions, but only 1.2% of searchers click.
MediumThe numbers come from Search Console. How much a better title helps is an estimate.
- Technical SEO
Fix a broken internal link
/services/accounting
A link to /old-tariffs returns a 404.
HighA fixed rule against the crawled pages, not an estimate.
The job nobody signed up for
- SEO is one of five hats
- You don't have time to work out what matters this week. You need someone to have done that already.
- Reports you can't act on
- A spreadsheet of metrics doesn't say what to change first.
- No way to show what happened after a change
- When your manager asks what happened after a change, “traffic looks up” is not an answer.
A week with Lastmod
Not a dashboard to interpret: a short route from a finding to a measured result.
Open the ranked list
Tasks are ordered by what they are worth. Each one says what to change, where and why.
Make the change yourself
Edit the page in your own CMS. Lastmod never touches your site.
Mark it done
Enter the new value. Lastmod checks the page for the change and starts measuring.
Read the result
A few weeks later you get a result and how reliable the measurement is, or an honest “not enough data”.
What you need to get started
Five steps. Only the second may need a technical colleague, and only once.
Create an account
Email and password, no credit card. Your 30-day free trial starts when you create your organisation.
Add your website and prove it's yours
Connect Google Search Console with an account that has access to your whole domain, or add a DNS record that Lastmod gives you to prove you own it. If you can't reach your domain's DNS settings, ask whoever can, or use Search Console.
Let it crawl
The first crawl starts by itself once Lastmod has access to the domain. It reads the pages in your XML sitemap.
Read your first findings
Technical checks (titles, meta descriptions, canonical tags, broken links) work from the crawl alone.
Connect Search Console when you're ready
You can browse findings and turn technical ones into tasks without it. Measuring results needs a working connection, and it also unlocks quick wins and click-through drops.
A result you can point to
When your manager asks what happened after the change, you have a baseline, a measurement window and how reliable the measurement is, or an honest “not enough data”.
Questions from in-house teams
Do I need to know SEO?
No. Every task explains what to change, where and why, and shows the evidence. You don't have to interpret metrics first.
Do I need a developer?
Once, possibly: to add a DNS record that proves you own the domain, or to connect Search Console with an account that has access to it. After that you make the changes in your own CMS, like any other page edit.
Do I need Google Search Console?
Not for your first findings: technical checks run from the crawl alone, so you see those before you connect it, and you can turn them into tasks right away. You do need a working connection to measure the result of a change, and it unlocks quick wins, click-through drops and Core Web Vitals checks.
Does Lastmod change my site?
No. It has no write access to your site. You make the change, and Lastmod checks the page afterwards.
What language is the product in?
The app and the monthly reports are available in English and Dutch, and each person picks their own language in Preferences. This website is available in English and Dutch.
