XML sitemap
An XML sitemap is a file that lists the URLs you want search engines to know about, so they can find pages and see when they last changed.
It helps search engines discover pages, especially new ones and ones few links point to. It does not make a page rank or guarantee that it is indexed.
A good sitemap lists the pages you want found, with their canonical URLs, and leaves out pages you have marked noindex.
