How Lastmod finds it
The crawl counts the words of the main text on each page and lists the shortest ones.
What you do
Decide per page: expand it with what visitors ask for, merge it into another page, or leave it, as with a contact page.
How the work is followed up
A new page has no earlier clicks to compare with, so there is no before-and-after. Lastmod follows whether the page is published and found, and shows clicks later as context only.
